With a remarkable 35-year career in optometry, Dr. Janet Walsh is dedicated to providing exceptional vision care at Memphis Primary Eye Care. Inspired by personal family experiences with macular degeneration, Dr. Walsh chose a career that allows her to protect and enhance the ocular health of her patients. Her approach is deeply personal; she values the long-standing relationships built with families, often caring for multiple generations. When she's not in the clinic, Dr. Walsh can be found in her garden, immersed in a book, or enjoying time with her family. Dr. Walsh finds joy in every aspect of her work, especially in helping patients discover the world through better sight.

Chelse Starkey brings seven years of expertise to her role as an Optometric Technician and Optician Apprentice at Memphis Primary Eye Care. Inspired by her own early experiences with eye care, Chelse is driven by a mission to provide exceptional service and education to all patients. She loves taking her daughter on adventures, supporting local businesses, and making a positive impact in the lives of everyone she meets at the clinic. Chelse’s dedication to enhancing vision and enriching lives makes her a valued member of our team.

Cynthia Ocampo is an integral part of the Memphis Primary Eye Care team, serving both as a Receptionist and Optometric Technician. Bringing 1.5 years of heartfelt service, Cynthia is driven by a desire to make a difference in the lives of our Hispanic/Latino patients. Her role extends beyond mere administrative duties; she is a facilitator of communication, offering seamless translations and personalized care that make our patients feel understood and valued. When not at work, Cynthia is pursuing her degree in Communication at the University of Memphis, and loves spending time exploring new dining and coffee spots. Her warmth and dedication make our office a better place every day.

Yulisa Camacho serves as a Receptionist and Technician at Memphis Primary Eye Care, where her bilingual abilities and passion for healthcare shine. With a year of experience in optometry, she is dedicated to ensuring that all patients, especially those from non-English speaking backgrounds, receive the best possible care. Yulisa is known for her ability to make patients feel welcomed and valued, a testament to her belief in the power of good healthcare to transform lives. When not at work, Yulisa enjoys cultural activities and the vibrant coffee scene in Memphis.
